In Korea, a seaside apartment has less value than one that is turned toward the land.
They explained to me that, compared to a view on the mountains where you can see the landscape change and the cycle of the seasons, a view solely facing the sea is too constant and therefore depressing.
This is a series of cyanotypes that I took during my residency.
It shows the residences of Busan that are facing the South Sea.
